Seeking an experienced Production Worker / Re- Work Operator for a Manufacturing company....
Background& Purpose of the Job
The Rework Operator is responsible for carrying out general rework operations and cleaning regimes according to planned operational requirements in order to safely deliver a good quality product. As a core member of the operations team the Rework Operator plays an important role in maintaining department safety and will identify process issues to leaders.
7:00 am to 3:30 pm need to be open to OT / Weekends
$13.00 per hour
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
•Carries out pre start-up checks to ensure that the area and equipment is clean and is in a safe condition
•Performs initial inspection and cleaning
•Monitors quality against set standards and reports any product and/or packaging defects.
•Conducts effective hand-over activities and accurately records events that have occurred during shift (tubs filtered/trashed/sent to storage,used, etc).
•Understands all safe practices and systems relevant to the equipment and the safety responsibilities placed upon individuals.
•Utilizes appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products and equipment relevant to the task.
•Ensure all rework tubs are properly tagged and received from the line.
•Daily communication with production surrounding rework.
•Proactive communication regarding rework use with process operators.
•Assist with troubleshooting with equipment as necessary
•Notify process operator of problems or concerns
•Assist process operators as necessary
•Keep all work areas clean and free of debris
