Responsible for receiving inbound product into the facility
Assist and oversee that routes are dispatched to the drivers in an appropriate, correct and timely manner

Unloading the shipments from the inbound linehaul trucks into the warehouse receiving area(s). This will involve operating a folk-lift Truck. Applicants MUST be certified.
Ensuring that all inbound documentation (BOL’s) are correctly checked and that any shortages/overages are communicated to the team appropriately * Make certain that the Warehouse space is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times in accordance with OSHA and food safety guidelines.
Maintaining the facility to include monitoring inventory levels for supplies and placing orders with purchasing as needed, overseeing pallet recycling, maintenance schedule for equipment, following the cleaning schedule, etc.
Communicate with upper management and offer suggestions to achieve goals and overcome obstacles
Learn and understand the technical applications of the job and be able to train new hires accordingly on these applications.
Ensure that legal guidelines are adhered to (i.e. clock ins & clock outs are correctly maintained and that breaks/ lunch breaks etc are taken in accordance with the law.
Help scan and sort where required. Lead by example.
