Job Description
Growing manufacturing company in Anaheim has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Shop Foreman.
This is a permanent position (not a contract).Day shift position with benefits.

Hours: M-F 7am-3:30p with optional OT and sometimes Saturdays as needed

Details:
  • Makes sure that shop workers have properly finished steps in production before moving to other stages
  • Verifies that quality is up to company standards on all projects scheduled ready to be shipped
  • Readsshop drawings
  • Answers any production questions related to quality
  • Prepares and review daily production reportswith management.
  • Assign work as needed to meet deadlines. Supervise and mentor shop employees to maintain high shopmoral.
  • Confirms sufficient raw materials available.
  • Measures and prepares materials to be used.
  • Inspects products, evaluating finished products to confirm they meet specifications.

Requirements

  • 5years of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Must know how to run all sheet metal shop equipment.
  • Working knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes (shear, press brake, slip roller, band saw, turret punch, plasma table, welding processes, material finishes etc.) is required.
  • Knowledge of miscellaneous metals such as platforms, railings, stairs, light structural steel is highly desirable.
  • Past experience in quality control
  • Can work unsupervised, be an independent thinker and perform tasks such as: fit-up & weld railings, miscellaneous steel, structural steel & sheet metal in the shop and the field.
  • Able to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Motivated and have excellent team building skills, ability to solve problems independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be able tomulti-task, easily adapt to change, be organized.
