·New hire and termination processing
·New hire follow ups
·Manage monthly FMCSA/Anaheim Non-Dot random drug & alcohol testing
·Track and manage all drivers’ records through SAMBA (Driver’s Licenses & Medical Certificate Exams)
·Review and approve invoices for drug & alcohol testing, physical exams (AWSI, SAMBA, Clinics)
·Submit employee information for Unemployment Insurance claims
·Manage bi-annual workplace harassment prevention training for all employees.
·Review, understand and interpret collective bargaining agreements
·Maintain detailed records of construction projects in the compliance pipeline, including job files, reports, status updates and compliance paperwork
·Responsible for timely results in the compliance arena (hold others accountable) and meeting deadlines
·Compile payroll documentation as needed for prevailing wage projects’ Certified Payroll Reports submissions for all locations on a weekly basis through project completion
·Maintain and organize compliance electronic and physical files
·Attend quarterly safety meetings.
·HS grad or GED
·Bachelor’s degree preferred
·3-5 years prior experience managing multiple projects with tight timelines
·Ability to multi-task and deal with interruptions
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual (Spanish is preferred)
·Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
·Use a logical and common sense approach when dealing with daily tasks
·2-3 years prior HR experience
