Hours: 5:00 am - 3:00 pm
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
Location: Anaheim, California
-Works on thorough quality inspection process and provide process improvement feedback to production team, often in collaboration with an engineer. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to details. Training and experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly process.
-Reads and interprets complicated blueprints and specifications, including customer and vendor specifications.
-Performs product/process audits.
-Identifies causes of rejects and follows-through for corrective action.
-Sets-up instruments (mechanically or electrically) for inspection.
-Uses mechanical and electrical measuring tools such as Digital Multi Meters(DMM), mechanical gages.
-Performs critical first-piece inspections.
-Makes outside field trips to approve vendor material or operations or check finished product.
-Trains other technicians.
-Determines unstated or hidden dimensions from a blueprint, working with fractions, decimals, and trigonometry.
-Under a Quality Engineer’s supervision, facilitates project completion.
-Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 4-plus years related experience and/or training; or High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years related experience and/or training required.
