-Answer e-mails and provide support to meet the requirements of customers and transportation vendors.
-Enter shipping requests, delivery receipts and other pertinent data into the computer system.
-Must be able to file accurately all documents as assigned.
-Maintain accurate information on an Excel spreadsheet for tracking finished good orders.
-Entry of new customer PO’s and inventory balances.
-Monitor inventory levels, requirements and pending shipments.
-Maintain legible balances of bulk, and finished goods inventory.
-Approve and oversee the shipping of finished goods.
-Advise carriers of pending request for pick up and follow through to ensure pick-up is executed.
-Perform all other administrative tasks as assigned, including but not limited to word processing, data entry, filing, etc.
-Must be proficient in math to include fractions conversations, decimals, degrees and basic math is a must.
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service role or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment a plus.
-Positive attitude and excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
-Ability to work with strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
-Superb problem-solving skills along with the ability to “think outside the box” to streamline tasks and processes necessary to support customer and production needs.
-Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
