According to the American Staffing Association (ASA), nine out of ten U.S. companies rely on professional staffing firms to help them recruit, screen and hire qualified candidates for temporary and career positions at every level and salary range. By working with Kimco you'll make the right connections to find the opportunity that is right for you.
No. At Kimco, we have a very different mindset than other staffing services – we view each and every candidate as a valued-member of the Kimco team! And helping you achieve your career goals is our number-one priority! We know that to get the most out of your career, you need more than just a placement service, you need the support and resources that will help you prepare for and manage your next job. We are one of the few services that can offer you both permanent and temporary placements. And our unique model of specialist recruiters allows us to provide you with the individual service you need and the respect you deserve.
Absolutely nothing. Unlike “employment agencies” of the past, who often charged job-seekers a percentage of their salary to help them find a position, client companies pay today's staffing service fees. The services we offer to job-seekers are 100% free.
No, actually that is not usually the case. The fees that employers pay to staffing firms come from the thousands of dollars and hours of time they would have spent advertising for, recruiting, and screening candidates themselves. We only get paid if and when we present them with the perfect candidate for the job. Since we know our clients' budgets and keep abreast of salary trends in the fields we represent, Kimco may even be able to negotiate a higher salary for you, than you could yourself.
Kimco cares about the health and well-being of our Associates. Our generous benefits package is just one of the ways we show our Associates how much we appreciate them and the work they do for our clients each day.
Yes. Kimco Temporary and Contract Associates can qualify to receive a benefits package. Click here for details.
You'll find an incredible range of local positions in the areas of accounting/finance, information technology, engineering, manufacturing, science/biotech, healthcare, office support and light industrial work. And we offer several flexible work options to suit your needs: Full-time career positions, temporary, contract/project opportunities, temporary-to-hire, short-term, long-term and seasonal. Last year alone, we filled 30,000 positions for some of the area's most sought-after employers. Hundreds of new opportunities become available every week with companies of every size, type and industry.
Finding the right job depends on many different factors — timing, your background and experience, your availability, your salary requirements, etc. While no one can guarantee you a position, if you have strong skills in one of our specialty areas, partnering with Kimco in your job search can tremendously increase your chances of landing a great position. We get to know the hiring managers at client firms on a personal basis. We understand their corporate culture, their personalities, and other factors that influence their hiring decisions. We're called on daily to help fill thousands of positions that are never advertised. Our clients trust us to send them only the best, brightest, and most suitable candidates.
Kimco currently serves clients and applicants in the San Francisco and Los Angeles metro areas. Click here to see our branch directory.
Payment methods depend on the type of placement. If you are hired by one of our employer companies in a permanent position (direct-hire placement), you get your paychecks and benefits from them just like anybody else. If you go out on a temporary assignment, then you are on Kimco's payroll. We have weekly paydays, which means that for extended assignments you can expect to get a check every Friday. We even offer direct deposit.
